Adopt A Turkey

Spread the message of love and compassion this Thanksgiving! With a one-time donation of $30 you can symbolically adopt one of our turkey residents as a gift for yourself or someone else. The donation will go to providing for their food and care this holiday season. The recipient will receive an e-mail with the resident turkey’s photo thanking you for your generous gift.

To adopt a turkey in your name (or as a gift for someone else!) complete the form at the bottom of the page.

Can't choose who? No problem, adopt the whole flock for a donation of $200!

NATHAN

The Riley Farm Rescue was contacted in 2021 by a local Canterbury resident who was desperate to find a loving home to surrender his one-winged turkey. This poor boy was not getting along with the rest of the turkeys where he was living and he was beaten up quite often. Nathan is a sweet boy who gets along with all the other turkeys!

tina

Tina is a long-time resident at The Riley Farm Rescue, having lived at the farm since 2017. She lives with her best buddy Murphy.

Murphy

Murphy was the very first turkey to come to live at The Riley Farm Rescue in 2017. Known as the “Yard Supervisor”, Murphy is super friendly as he likes to welcome everyone who visits the farm!

rudy

In 2017, Rudy was rescued a week before Thanksgiving and came to live on the farm in his forever home. Known as being a bit of a “neighborhood bully” with the other turkeys, Rudy now lives with his besties- two ducks and a rooster!

FRED

Fred was rescued with Ginger during Thanksgiving time in 2020. They were both being sold at a feed store and luckily the owner surrendered them both to The Riley Farm Rescue so they can live a long and happy life. Fred is very bold and likes to chase around the volunteers. He also has a soft side and enjoys cuddles.

GINGER

Ginger was rescued with Fred from being sold at a feed store during Thanksgiving in 2020. Luckily the owner surrendered them both to The Riley Farm Rescue so they can live a long and happy life. Ginger is very inquisitive and likes to join in on tours and get on camera. She’s very beautiful and not shy at all.

Captain spaulding

Due to their matching colors, Captain Spaulding was named after a character appearing in three Rob Zombie movies. Captain Spaulding came to live at the farm in 2017.
