Join Our Farm Family
The Riley Farm Rescue is committed to rescuing suffering animals and providing them with a safe and loving forever home. Through education, special events, volunteering, and by living and promoting a vegan lifestyle, we bring awareness to the neglect and cruelty animals experience, and advocate for change.
DO YOU HAVE A QUESTION? WE'LL GET RIGHT TO IT AS SOON AS MURPHY FINISHES HIS DINNER.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with The Riley Farm Rescue! Our volunteers play a very important role in our organization, and we rely on them more than ever to help us keep our rescued animals happy and healthy.
Weekend Volunteering (Saturday & Sunday)
Weekend volunteering at The Riley Farm Rescue focuses primarily on cleaning and general upkeep. Volunteers help with stall and enclosure cleaning, refreshing living spaces, tidying barns, and supporting the overall cleanliness of the sanctuary. This work is essential to maintaining a healthy environment for our rescued residents and is a great way to make a direct impact in a shorter amount of time.
Weekday Volunteering (Monday–Friday)
Weekday volunteers are deeply involved in the daily care of our animals. Opportunities include watering, feeding, cleaning, and assisting with enrichment for both indoor small animals and outdoor large animals. Weekdays offer a more hands-on experience and allow volunteers to be part of the animals’ daily routines.
Group Volunteering Opportunities
We welcome small groups looking to volunteer together! Group volunteering is ideal for families, friends, corporate teams, clubs, or community organizations. Group activities may include larger cleaning projects, outdoor work, organization, and special sanctuary needs. Group visits are scheduled in advance to ensure a safe and meaningful experience for everyone.
Light Volunteering for Seniors
We offer light-duty volunteering options for seniors and those who prefer less physically demanding roles. These opportunities may include gentle cleaning, preparing enrichment items, organizing supplies, socializing with animals, or assisting with indoor care. We are happy to accommodate comfort levels while still providing meaningful ways to help our residents.
All applicants should be committed to The Riley Farm Rescue’s mission and vision. If applicants are under 18 a waiver must be signed by a parent or guardian. To volunteer please complete our Volunteer Application by clicking here, Thank you!
