About Jordan
Jordan began volunteering at the farm in 2020 after learning about TRFR at Rhode Island VegFest. An outspoken animal rights activist, passionate animal lover, and long-time vegetarian, Jordan decided to become vegan in 2018 after watching Vegucated and What The Health.
Since then, she has been speaking out about animal rights and striving to make a better world for animals. She contributes to TRFR’s mission by putting animals to bed on weekdays, mucking barns on weekends, and creating content for the farm’s social media accounts. She often rewards herself after doing chores by sitting peacefully with the potbelly pigs and rubbing Kobe’s belly.
Volunteering at the farm strengthens Jordan’s activism. It reminds her who she is fighting for and fuels her passion for spreading veganism like confetti. Jordan loves the animals at TRFR dearly and appreciates the opportunity to volunteer and do something kind for them. She is grateful for the friendship she has found in fellow volunteers and enjoys being a part of such a compassionate, welcoming, and supportive community.
When she’s not at the farm, Jordan is working as a Senior Accountant, re-watching The Office with her fiancé, Payton (also a TRFR volunteer), or playing with her two adopted puppies, Frida and Georgie.
