Did you know our animals go through almost 300 bales of hay each holiday season? On top of that, some of our residents have some medical expenses. Others just always want a little treat. This season, sponsor an animal with a bale of hay, some love, or a snack (or send a sponsorship as a holiday gift!).
You (or the gift recipient) will receive an email from your chosen resident thanking you for your sponsorship! Gift emails will be sent within 48 hours of purchase.
Asher
Asher, one of our Great Pyrenees dogs, is a sweet boy who has unfortunately torn his cruciate ligament. He’s having difficulty walking and needs a major surgical repair so he can live the normal life of the amazing guardian dog that he is! His scheduled surgery is January 23, so please send a donation to help Asher run again! The surgical total estimate is $6000 but this boy deserves the best.
Chaos
Chaos is a dwarf mini horse gelding and was found terrified and alone at a horse auction. Now his confidence has grown and he loves to play ball! Chaos would love a donation for hay this winter.
DRogon
Drogon the red iguana was rescued from a very sad situation. He had grown large, as all iguanas do, and his owner was too afraid to handle him any longer as he was very aggressive. He was kept in a large dog crate with no lighting and no heat so he stopped eating. When he arrived at TRFR, he was as thin as a snake! He was constipated and had many health issues. He has come so far and is much more relaxed! Please send some of Drogon’s favorite food, romaine lettuce!
Gabriella
Gabriella, one of our Great Pyrenees, loves snuggles and hugs! She lives with her brother, Evander, and our 3 steer. Gabriella would love some snacks to share with her brother!
Gwendolyn
Gwendolyn was named by the late Dr. Scott Morey, our wonderful vet who we lost to brain cancer. Gwenny, for short, was saved from being Easter dinner with her mom, Marilyn. They are both sweet and loving sheep. Gwenny would love to get a bale of hay!
harold
Harold, one of our very affectionate mini horses, loves to eat! He was tossed aside at a horse auction alone with his face up against the wall. He is the sweetest boy and absolutely loves hugs! Please send this boy a bale of hay for his winter Christmas treat!
Little foot
Little Foot was rescued with Joshua the calf. Joshua the calf lives with our friends at Rancho Relaxo. Little Foot was Joshua’s companion, and the farm agreed to surrender them together. Little Foot loves attention and would love to share some hay with his pals in the Misfit Barn!
luke
Luke is TRFR's largest goat. He is an Alpine goat and is taller than all of the mini horses! Luke LOVES attention and will give anyone a back rub with his head. He's a gentle, loving giant. Luke would love hay this holiday season!
Pinocchio
Pinocchio the pot belly pig was born at TRFR. His mother Elizabeth was rescued from a hoarding case in North Carolina. Thankfully, Pinocchiohas never experienced neglect. He’s only known love and respect and SNACKS! Pinocchio would love some special snacks this holiday season to share with his family!
theodore
Theodore the Hero was rescued along with Clarabelle and were the first two goats at TRFR! Both were bottle babies who's mothers would not nurse them. They are part of the reason TRFR is even in existence. Sadly, in mid December, we lost Clarabelle to a bladder tumor. Theodore is missing Clarabelle, but doing ok. Theodore got his nickname from alerting us that Clarabelle was stuck over a fence and he saved her! Theodore would love hay this holiday season.
zachaRY
Zachary, the Zonkey (part donkey part zebra), was rescued from being passed around as a novelty. He has many characteristics of a zebra, including his mane and the stripes on the back of his legs. He also has some personality traits of a zebra, including being very wary and flighty. Good luck catching him if he doesn’t want to be caught! Zachary would love some hay this holiday season!
