Catherine + Gregory

Gregory was rescued with his mother, Catherine, in Easter of 2021 from a livestock auction. Gregory actually spent six weeks in the hospital with a pretty severe urinary blockage. So severe we weren’t sure he would ever come home. Thankfully he made it through and he is doing well! We’ve since learned that Gregory absolutely loves animal crackers! You can always find them looking messy with hay stuck all over their wool!

kimberley + kent

Kimberley and Kent were rescued from a neglect case. Kent lost his mother and Kimberley lost her son. Luckily, we placed the two together and they bonded! Kimberley took Kent as her adopted son. The two continue to be inseparable.

lisa + robert + teri

Lisa (center) is a strong mother and was named after our Volunteer Lisa, who has been volunteering at the farm since the very beginning! Lisa is a wonderful mother, and is never far from her children, Robert (left) and Teri (right) - also named after volunteers!

MARILYN + GWENDOLYN

Marilyn (left) and Gwendolyn (right) were rescued from an Easter livestock auction where they would have been on someone's plate. Marilyn is known to hoof your leg for love and attention.

Melissa + Corey

Mama Melissa (right) and kids Corey (left) and Kaley (not pictured) - were separated at a livestock animal auction. We saw Melissa calling and crying for her kids and we were able to reunite the trio. Melissa is extremely shy and does not trust humans to this day. Kaley and Corey are curious, but cautious.

Monique + Shirl

Monique (right) and sons Shirl (left) and Kelly (not pictured) were rescued from an Easter livestock auction. Monique is our most affectionate sheep and absolutely loves hugs and kisses! She still spends her days with her 2 sons!

The Pots

The potbelly family consists of Mama Ann (right) and kids (right-to-left) Kobe, Paula, Sara and Moonlight. They were all rescued from a potbelly pig hoarding case in North Carolina. Ann's kids were piglets at the time they arrived at The Riley Farm Rescue and they all stick close together - years later!

Zoey + Sidney

Zoey (left) was rescued from a rat infested basement. She was pregnant with little Sidney and he was born at TRFR! Both are extremely affectionate and love snacks!
