BELLE AND sEBASTIAN

Belle and Sebastian are our lucky little pot belly pig duo who were born right here at TRFR 💚🐷🍀

Their mama, Elizabeth, was rescued from a hoarding case in North Carolina, and these two have been part of our story ever since. A few years ago, Belle had major surgery at Cornell — a femoral ostectomy — and while she’s a little slower getting around, she lives a happy, full life with her family by her side.

Sebastian is as sweet as they come and can often be found snuggled up with his siblings, soaking in the love (and maybe dreaming about snacks!).

This brother and sister pair would feel extra lucky to receive some warm straw, cozy bedding, hay, and special treats this St. Patrick’s Day!

CALAHAN

Calahan is a sweet and very curious chinchilla who lives in our Small Animal Center. He loves mini wheats so much - that is his favorite snack! Send this boy some love by sending him a gram on St. Paddy’s day!

gRETA

Greta is a spirited and chatty Senegal parrot who keeps everyone smiling in our Small Animal Center 🦜💚

She loves staying close to the action and will happily supervise the day from her perch. Greta’s favorite treats are crunchy seed balls and tasty little fruit bites — and she never says no to a special snack!

KANE

Kane is the youngest of our Guardian dogs! He lives with his best pal, Adira and their flock of sheep! He is the sweetest boy who unfortunately had to have surgery. Any donations made towards Kane will be for his continued care. Please send this boy some love this St. Paddy’s Day!

MERRY

Merry the Mini is one of the sweetest souls at the sanctuary, always ready to melt your heart with her gentle spirit 💚🐴🍀

She’s been through so much — including major dental surgery — and when she first arrived, she was severely underweight. Thanks to lots of love and care, Merry has gained 40 pounds and is thriving! Every single day, she shows us just how much love she has to give.

This St. Patrick’s Day, Merry would feel extra lucky to receive a special treat (and some fresh hay and cozy bedding!) to remind her just how cherished she truly is.

mONIQUE

Monique was rescued Easter of 2021 with her two lambs, Kelley and Shirl! The three live their lives together in the sheep area and love face rubs, especially Monique! This family is the sweetest and would love a bale of hay for St. Paddy’s Day!

SABRINA

Sabrina is a calm and curious bearded dragon who rules her cozy corner of our Small Animal Center. 🦎💚

She loves basking under her warm light and munching on her favorite snacks - crunchy greens and tasty bugs are at the top of her list! Sabrina may be quiet, but her sweet personality shines bright once you get to know her.

SIDNEY

Sidney was born at TRFR after his mother Zoe, who had been found living in the basement was rescued. Sidney is a feisty boy often head butting the humans when they don’t pay him enough attention. Send the sweet boy a bale of hay on the St. Paddy‘s day celebration!

Teri is a sweet and affectionate goat who was born right here at TRFR 💚🐐

She’s grown up surrounded by love and has always been one of the first to greet you for attention. If there are pets to be given, Teri is front and center! This sweet gal thrives on affection — and of course, she never turns down a tasty snack.

theodore

Theodore the Hero is one of the very first goats of TRFR and part of the reason our rescue even exists 💚🐐

He and Clarabelle were our very first two goats — tiny bottle babies whose mothers would not nurse them. We fed them, loved them, and grew alongside them.

In 2023, we sadly lost sweet Clarabelle to a bladder tumor. Theodore is missing his girl, but he’s doing okay and soaking up all the extra love.

He earned the name “Theodore the Hero” after alerting us when Clarabelle was stuck in a fence — he truly saved her! Brave, loyal, and full of heart, this boy has always watched over his family.
