Welcome Paul and Ian, TRFR's first alpaca rescues!
If you follow TRFR’s social media accounts, you have like already seen the adorable faces of the two new alpacas on the farm. Paul is the tall guy in black, white and gray (with fabulous ears) and Ian is shorter with brown hair (and a great hairstyle).
These two are the first alpacas that TRFR has ever rescued, and we are so excited to provide them with the loving forever home they deserve. Two days ago, our barn manager Cherie hitched up the trailer and drove two hours across Connecticut to pick these boys up and bring them to sanctuary. After arriving at the farm, they almost immediately started eating, rolling in the dirt and making TRFR their home. They’re still a little nervous around the people on the farm, but not the sheep who are very curious and getting to know their new friends. Grandpa lamb (who’s no longer a lamb but a full sized sheep) was very brave and approached Paul to say hello! Follow along with their stories on our social media pages!
